Dr. Lisa Sugimoto, PhD
Dr. Sugimoto is the interim President of Pasadena City College. She previously served as vice president of Student and Learning Services, with responsibility for programs including admissions, counseling and career services, the New Media Center, outreach, scholarships and financial aid, and student affairs. She began her 33-year career in community colleges at PCC in 1976, as a part-time staff member, and then spent 14 years as dean of counseling, Student Development, and Support Services at Long Beach City College. Dr. Sugimoto has also served as president of the Association of California Community College Administrators.
