It is a pleasure to extend my greetings to all who have gathered for your Community College Summit.
California is a world leader in discovering new ways to generate energy and protect our precious natural resources. However, this legacy still will only last as long as we keep developing minds ready and able to answer the call to save our environment. Educating these future generations is vital, and community colleges play a huge role in this endeavor.
I commend all those who have come together to discuss the impact community colleges have not only on the people of our state, but on the future of green technology here and around the world. To all in attendance, please accept my appreciation for your efforts to foster the innovators and innovations of tommorrow.
