Global Impact and Collaboration
Climate change is a global issue that transcends political boundaries and requires international action at all levels. Increasingly, subnational and local governments as well as the private sector are rising to meet the climate challenge, and showing that both bottom-up and top-down solutions are needed. As global leaders look to spur action at the international level and create strong green economies, innovative new partnerships, like R20 will bring together subnational governments, businesses, NGOs and academia from around the world to facilitate implementation of low-carbon and climate resilient projects and policies.
